HHS WOMEN’S CONSULTING
Hawkeye Hockey Services (HHS), a leading hockey consulting firm dedicated to empowering athletes on their journey to success, is delighted to announce the launch of its Women’s Consulting Department. This strategic initiative represents a significant step towards promoting gender equality and enhancing support for women’s hockey players around the world.
Through personalized one-on-one consultations, tailored training programs, and comprehensive career guidance, the Women’s Consulting Department at HHS aims to empower female athletes to overcome challenges, develop essential skills, and succeed both on and off the ice.
Taylor Gulenchyn – Women’s Senior Consultant
Taylor is a multi-sport athlete who grew up in Wisconsin. She played Tier 1 AAA Hockey for the Madison Capitals from 2011-2013 and was named captain both years leading her team to a State Championship in 2013. Along with lettering in varsity soccer and tennis, Taylor played her sophomore year of high school with Stillwater High School. She then went on to play her Junior & Senior years at Bauer Emerson Hockey Academy where she was named team captain for both 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 seasons helping her team achieve #8 ranking in the nation. Taylor also received the 2015 Harvard Alumni Association Award and was recognized on the high honor roll for her efforts in the classroom.
Taylor was recruited by Minnesota State University and played 5 years of college hockey in the WCHA, receiving the Mavericks’ Tiffany Searles Memorial Award winner for the 2019-2020 and 2020-21. She was also a four-year WCHA All-Academic Team member completing her undergraduate degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources and her Master’s in Business.
Taylor has been involved in growing on and off-ice training programs along with coaching Girls AAA hockey teams for the Blue Army Hockey Club and Rivertown Hockey, as well as coaching at the Hockey and Sons hockey and Tier 1 camp. Last year Taylor coached the Stillwater 15UA girls’ hockey team leading them to a District 2 Championship and a 2nd place finish at State.
